AppGuard Support

What is AppGuard?

AppGuard is client security software that stops malware attacks that signature-based tools such as legacy AntiVirus software miss.  Adding AppGuard to computers with legacy AntiVirus software increases their protection from newly created malware attacks to nearly 100%, up from an average of 19% for attacks using malicious code less than a week old.

New License Code System

With version 3.0 (10 February 2011 Release), AppGuard uses a new copy protection mechanism.  This requires that users with a previously valid license code use a new license after installing the new AppGuard and its succeeding versions. Migration to the new license code system is a one-time requirement.  Users with valid licenses for AppGuard versions prior to 3.0 that have not received a new license code via email should send an email to appguard@blueridgenetworks.com including their original license code, name, and the email address associated with that code.
