Goverment Security Solutions
Eliminate Data Loss and Malware Risks from Endpoints and the Networks They Use
Outsource or supplement your information security challenges to seasoned experts that have been serving government and commercial organizations for over a decade.
Remediate Existing Remote Access—HSPD-12 Compliant, Without Changing IT Infrastructure
This fully managed security service plugs into an organization’s existing remote access infrastructure as a security overlay, or it provides a new fully functional remote access. End-users can access whatever resources are needed with whatever applications are required. They are provisioned with EdgeGuard virtual workspaces that securely connect to BorderGuard appliances placed in front of existing remote access or thin client servers. EdgeGuard ensures that its virtual workspace is isolated from whatever computer an end-user chooses—GFE or non-GFE. Neither malware from the host computer can intrude into the virtual workspace nor can data transfer to the host computer.
Plug WikiLeak Data Loss Risks Posed by Personnel Accessing Sensitive Resources in Collaborative Efforts
Authorized personnel can only access sensitive resources from EdgeGuard virtual workspaces. This effectively overlays two-factor, PKI authentication upon these resources without having to alter them. Users cannot transfer data from the EdgeGuard virtual workspace to whatever GFE or non-GFE computer hosts or to any removable media. The default-deny data egress architecture eliminates network data loss risks.
Social Media Access from GFE Computers Without Malware, Data Loss, or Network Attack Risks
Organizations deploy a version of EdgeGuard that is installed into GFE computers. Access to social media is only allowed via an EdgeGuard virtual workspace featuring a web browser. EdgeGuard tunnels to a BorderGuard appliance elsewhere. Malware neither reaches the GFE computer nor the LAN surrounding it. Further, no data can be accidentally or maliciously transferred from the GFE computer to the social media.
More Computer Protection from Advanced Malware Threats with Less Effort
AppGuard Enterprise complements an organization’s existing anti-virus/spyware by blocking the targeted enterprise and zero-day attacks that traditional protections cannot detect. Advanced persistent threats (APT) and Botnet penetrations are practically eliminated. AppGuard Enterprise delivers more protection at less effort than application whitelisting and endpoint security suites with host intrusion prevention system (HIPS) features, including blended malware attacks that combine privilege escalations, inter-process code injections, master boot record (MBR) rootkit installation attacks, RAM scrapers that steal information from the memory of applications, and the hijacking of legitimate software applications to install rootkit based malware and/or steal sensitive documents.
Lock-Down, Protect, and Monitor FISMA Compliance in Government Computers
AppGuard Enterprise Plus enables organizations to monitor and enforce security configuration policies required of GFE computers. Each of the centrally managed software agents deployed has kernel-level controls to ensure that even end-users with local admin rights cannot supersede mandated policies. The comprehensive log data is digitally signed before leaving each computer to provide irrefutable reporting. Government IT personnel gain operational awareness over GFE computers on or off the enterprise network, regardless of whether they are Windows domain or non-Domain computers.
