Senior Linux/J2EE Developer

Position Description:
Join a growing team that is evolving a next-generation management platform for our line of network security products and services. The team has been successful in expanding a highly profitable product and that success has translated into continued growth and technical opportunities.

We need a developer with a solid background in Linux-based applications. The developer will be responsible for evolving the product’s “infrastructure” which includes a customized version of Linux as well as TomCat, Hibernate and other open source applications.

The developer will work closely with the development team to rapidly add new features and support a growing customer base.

Experience and Capabilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of life cycle experience with Linux-based, J2EE systems.
• Experience across three-tier architecture with a concentration in “back end” development
• Success as a small team or solo performer
• Knowledge of network protocols and security technologies is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills

Educational Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.
