Senior Java/J2EE/Ajax Developer

Java/J2EE; JSP; JavaScript; Ajax; Struts; Linux; Three-Tier Architecture.

Position Description:
Join a growing team that is evolving a next-generation management platform for our line of network security products and services. The team has been successful in expanding a highly profitable product and that success has translated into continued growth and technical opportunities.

We need a developer with a J2EE background that is slightly “front heavy” with solid GUI skills and strength in JSP, JavaScript/AJAX, and Struts. The developer will work closely with the development team to rapidly add new features and support a growing customer base.

Experience and Capabilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of life cycle experience with Java/J2EE systems.
• Experience across three-tier architecture with a concentration in “front end” development
• Success as a small team or solo performer
• Knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and Linux/UNIX environments is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills

Educational Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or an engineering discipline. Sun Certifications are a plus.
