Common Criteria
The Common Criteria is an international standard agreed to by six industrialized nations-the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Australia-for verification of security protocols. Adherence to these protocols ensures international acceptance.

HIPAA Compliance
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 requires all health care organizations to comply with extremely detailed and strict rules covering the privacy of that patient information. BorderGuard VPN complies with HIPAA regarding networking all healthcare data over the Internet.
